The application is mainly used to record and report the occurrence of crayfish in nature, especially in Czech Republic and near the borders.
However, the application also includes information necessary for the identification of crayfish and general information, such as basic information on the protection of crayfish, their distinguishing features, basic terminology, etc.Who is the app forThe application is intended for all those interested in the protection of our crayfish, anyone can use it.
The application is completely free and without ads.Information about crayfish and their protectionThe application contains basic information about native and non-native crayfish in Czech Republic occurring in wild.
A part of the application is a description of their characteristic distinguishing features (description, pictures, photographs).
The application also contains basic information about the protection of native crayfish, especially instructions on what to do and what not to do when finding crayfish in wild.Recording and reporting of crayfishThe main function of the application is the ability to record and then send reports of crayfish.
Fill in the data about the location of the find, attach photos of the found crayfish, use the integrated wizard (interactive key) to determine its type, save the record and then send it to our database.
We are mainly interested in sightings made in the Czech Republic or near the borders; these records are important for us.
However, you can also make and send records made elsewhere; records from Europe are especially useful for us.Use of crayfish data submitted by usersThe submitted data are stored in the database of the T.

The submitted reports are used mainly in the design of methodological procedures and the development of tools for the protection of our native species of crayfish.View uploaded data onlineIt takes us a while to process (verify) the sent sightings, so sent records are always displayed on the internet with a certain delay, usually several days.
However, all sent reports are processed and used.

Due to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and especially the related administration, we do not record the names of the authors of the sightings.
For privacy reasons, do not enter your full name as an alias.Permissions required by the applicationDuring the installation or the first start of particular functions, the application requires permission to access the location of the device (the application needs it to determine the sighting location by the GPS).Recommended version of AndroidWe recommend using an Android device version 6 or later to work with the application.
